OUR FOUNDER

Dr. Herbert H. Carnegie

A trailblazing hockey player, Herb Carnegie was denied the chance to play in the NHL because of the colour of skin. Turning adversity into purpose, he became a successful businessman, philanthropist, founded the Future Aces Hockey School and Future Aces Foundation, dedicated to inspiring youth to live with respect, confidence, and compassion. He was honoured with the Order of Ontario (1996), the Order of Canada (2003), and entered the Hockey Hall of Fame (2022). His legacy continues to uplift.
